Thruster Games has announced that Crimson Tale, its atmospheric first-person vampire puzzle adventure, will be featured in Steam’s Scream 4 Fest, starting October 27 at 10 AM PT. The event highlights the most chilling and mysterious upcoming horror titles — and Crimson Tale is joining the lineup just in time for Halloween.

Players will be able to try the demo during the event, offering an early taste of the game’s haunting world, blood magic mechanics, and time-bending puzzles.
Developed and published by Thruster Games, Crimson Tale is a short first-person narrative puzzle game that blends gothic storytelling with eerie atmosphere. Players take the role of Elizabeth, a trans lesbian vampire returning to her decaying village after tragedy strikes. Using blood magic and vampire powers, she travels through time to rewrite history, seek vengeance, and dismantle the oppressive nobility that destroyed everything she loved.
Gameplay revolves around solving time-based puzzles and using vampiric abilities — such as telekinesis, blood time manipulation, and enhanced vision — while avoiding sunlight that can quickly end Elizabeth’s journey. Each choice affects both the past and present, creating a layered and personal narrative about grief, power, and redemption.
While the full release date for Crimson Tale remains under wraps, Thruster Games teased that more news will be revealed later down the line. For now, players can experience the demo and wishlist the game as part of Steam’s Scream 4 Fest.
