Unifiq Games has announced Unhinged, a new open-world survival crafting game set within a twisted corporate experiment. The title will be available for PC via Steam, with private playtest sign-ups open now.

In Unhinged, players awaken on a retro-futuristic island controlled by a mysterious megacorporation. Stranded and disoriented, they must scavenge for resources, craft survival tools, and build modular machines to endure the island’s harsh trials and uncover the truth behind their captivity.
The game combines survival mechanics with psychological horror and player-driven engineering. Players can construct intricate contraptions, automate entire systems with pipes and conveyors, and manage their character’s mental state through a complex sanity system that governs mood, perception, and survival. Cooking, chemistry, and even drug synthesis play key roles in mastering the island’s challenges.
Every choice in Unhinged carries risk and discovery—experiments can lead to miraculous breakthroughs or catastrophic consequences. As players face dangerous biomes, corporate “trials,” and mind-bending encounters, sanity becomes their most precious and fragile resource.
