Nintendo and Koei Tecmo’s AAA Games Studio have released a brand-new trailer for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, titled “Unite Against the Demon King”. The upcoming action game launches November 6 exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2.

Set long before the events of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment explores the rise of Ganondorf and the desperate struggle to save the kingdom during one of its darkest eras. Players will fight alongside Princess Zelda and King Rauru as they lead an alliance against the Demon King’s relentless invasion, shaping the origins of Hyrule’s mythic history.
The trailer showcases new heroes and familiar faces, including Calamo the wandering Korok, the shapeshifting Mysterious Construct, and legendary Sages such as Agraston of the Gorons, Zora Queen Qia, and Raphica, leader of the Rito. The game’s new combat system introduces “Sync Strikes,” powerful cooperative attacks that vary depending on the paired characters, offering buffs, constructs, and devastating combo opportunities.
With massive battles, cinematic storytelling, and strategic team combat, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment unites Zelda’s epic lore with fast-paced, large-scale action in the signature Warriors style.
