Edge of Memories Unveils Story Trailer Ahead of 2026 Launch on Consoles and PC

Nacon and Midgar Studio have released the official story trailer for Edge of Memories, the upcoming action RPG set to launch in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam. The new trailer introduces players to Eline, a Soul Whisperer burdened with a dark gift that may determine the fate of a dying world.

Set across the ravaged lands of Avaris, Edge of Memories follows Eline’s struggle against the Corrosion—a spreading plague that twists nature and humanity alike into horrific abominations. Guided by her mentor Ysoris and the shaman prince Kanta, she must harness her power over the Corrosion to confront her inner demons and the forces consuming her world.

Featuring intense real-time combat, the game lets players chain fluid combos, unleash powerful transformations, and coordinate with allies for devastating attacks. Exploration spans a diverse, beautifully corrupted continent, where landscapes evolve as the story progresses. Players can traverse Avaris on a loyal Nekaroo mount, accessing hidden paths and unreachable areas with its agility.

Edge of Memories combines anime-inspired visuals built in Unreal Engine 5 with an emotional, narrative-driven experience that blends action, tragedy, and hope. Its soundtrack, composed by Cédric Menendez and featuring Emi Evans (NieR: Automata) and Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Xenoblade Chronicles, Sea of Stars), underscores the game’s haunting tone and sweeping scope.
