Publisher WEMADE MAX Co. Ltd and developer MADNGINE have officially revealed Project TAL, an open-world single-player action RPG inspired by Korean mythology, launching globally in 2027 for PC and consoles.

Set in a vast fantasy world shaped by traditional Korean Tal masks and folklore, Project TAL delivers an emotionally charged narrative and cinematic combat system. Players can leap onto colossal creatures to strike at weak points, execute tactical counterattacks, and chain skill-based combos to dominate the battlefield.
A key element of the game is its dynamic companion system. Each NPC ally possesses distinctive abilities and personalities that react intelligently to the player’s fighting style and surroundings. Companions can provide defensive support, unleash magical barriers, or assist in coordinated attacks, creating fluid cooperation during battle.
According to WEMADE MAX CEO Sohn Myun-seok, Project TAL aims to merge heartfelt storytelling with exhilarating, skill-driven gameplay, supported by MADNGINE’s technical craftsmanship and artistic design to deliver a truly global AAA experience.
