The cult classic first-person horror shooter Dementium: The Ward from developer Atooi will launch for PC via Steam on October 27. Originally released for Nintendo DS in 2007, the game has since been remade and rereleased across multiple platforms — including Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 & 5 — and now makes its long-awaited debut on PC.

Dementium: The Ward places players in a derelict hospital where they awaken with no memory of how they arrived. Armed with only makeshift weapons and their instincts, players must face grotesque monsters, uncover a disturbing mystery, and fight to survive within the hospital’s blood-soaked corridors. Every sound and flicker of light deepens the dread, crafting an experience that blends classic survival horror tension with psychological terror.
The PC version revitalizes the original DS release with upgraded visuals, smoother controls, and enhanced performance, all while preserving the eerie atmosphere that defined the handheld classic. Combining the survival elements of Silent Hill with the psychological unease of Amnesia, this remaster invites a new generation of players to test their nerve — and their sanity — when Dementium: The Ward arrives on Steam this Halloween season.
