Toronto-based developer Soft Rains has announced that Ambrosia Sky, a first-person sci-fi adventure and immersive sim, will release its first act on November 10, 2025, for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Revealed during IGN Fan Fest: Fall Edition, the game will unfold across three acts, with Act Two and Three planned for 2026.

In Ambrosia Sky, players step into the role of Dalia, a field scientist from an enigmatic order seeking human immortality. Returning to a colony on Saturn’s outer rings—now abandoned and overtaken by sentient alien fungi—she must cleanse the contamination, uncover the truth, and lay the dead to rest. Combining first-person action with a meditative cleaning mechanic, the game challenges players to survive through chemical-based combat, gravity anomalies, and an evolving alien ecosystem.
The first act introduces replayable missions, multiple fungus strains to harvest, and a progression system driven by crafting and research. Supported by Blackbird Interactive (Hardspace: Shipbreaker), Soft Rains promises a deep, atmospheric narrative experience that merges survival, exploration, and environmental storytelling.
A new gameplay overview trailer showcases the game’s gravity-bending environments, system-based design, and detailed worldbuilding. An updated demo with new missions, full voice acting, and refined fungus behavior is available now on Steam as part of Steam Next Fest until October 20.
