Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake Shares ‘Rescuing Princess Gwaelin’ Gameplay Video
DaRmaZat Square Enix and Artdink Corporation have unveiled new gameplay footage from Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake, showcasing the hero’s quest to defeat the Dragonlord and rescue Princess Gwaelin — one of the most iconic moments from the original Dragon Quest I.
According to producer Masaaki Hayasaka, the remake introduces numerous new events and expanded story elements while retaining the heart of the original adventure. The showcased sequence offers only a glimpse of what awaits, with the full game featuring additional narrative depth and surprises for both newcomers and longtime fans.
Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake launches on October 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, Switch, and PC (Steam, Microsoft Store).
