Forever Entertainment and MegaPixel Studio have announced that The House of the Dead 2: Remake will launch for PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on October 24 for $24.99/€24.99. The game previously released for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam and GOG in August.

A full reimagining of the iconic 1998 arcade rail shooter, The House of the Dead 2: Remake resurrects the cult classic with updated visuals, enhanced sound, and faithful gameplay that retains the spirit of the original. Players take on the role of AMS agents James Taylor and Gary Stewart as they investigate a mysterious outbreak that has transformed an entire city into a nightmare of the undead.
The remake offers both solo and cooperative modes, allowing players to blast through hordes of grotesque creatures alone or with a friend. Featuring branching paths, multiple endings, and a variety of game modes—including a Boss Mode and a dedicated Training Mode—the experience is designed for replayability and high-score chasing. Fans can also switch between the newly remastered soundtrack and the original classic music, blending nostalgia with modern presentation.
