DaRmaZat Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Purple Lamp Studios have released a free demo for SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide, now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam. The full game launches November 18 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC.
The demo lets players experience the opening levels of SpongeBob’s newest undersea adventure, switching seamlessly between SpongeBob and Patrick while testing Patrick’s brand-new abilities such as grappling and burrowing.
In Titans of the Tide, chaos has swept across Bikini Bottom after a monumental clash between King Neptune and the Flying Dutchman unleashes ghostly havoc beneath the sea. SpongeBob and Patrick must use teamwork, skill, and plenty of jellyfishing spirit to restore balance before the ocean turns into a haunted abyss.
The game promises classic platforming fun with modern twists — combining the duo’s unique abilities, exploring vibrant reimaginings of fan-favorite locations like Neptune’s Palace and Mount Bikini, and facing off against larger-than-life bosses including Hibernation Sandy and the Flying Dutchman himself. Fully voiced by the original cast and packed with humor, heart, and spectral surprises, SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide is shaping up to be the spookiest Bikini Bottom adventure yet.
