Atari and Fabraz have released an expanded demo for Bubsy 4D, the intergalactic 3D platformer coming to PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X|S, Nintendo Switch & Switch 2, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store & GOG. The full game is scheduled to launch in 2026.

Following strong reception at Gamescom and PAX, the Bubsy 4D demo is now available as part of Steam Next Fest, offering players access to four campaign levels — including the tutorial and the first three stages. The demo features full leaderboard support, encouraging players to master Bubsy’s diverse moveset to achieve the best possible times.
Progress from the demo, including earned blueprints, outfits, and collected yarn balls, will carry over to the full release, giving early players a head start when the game launches.
In Bubsy 4D, everyone’s favorite wisecracking bobcat returns for a new cosmic adventure across alien worlds, taking on robotic foes and the mischievous Woolies in a battle for the legendary Golden Fleece. Combining Fabraz’s signature design style with Fat Bard’s energetic soundtrack, the game reimagines Bubsy’s classic platforming formula for modern audiences — with a focus on creativity, precision, and speedrunning.
