Solo developer Filip Husák has officially launched the Kickstarter campaign for Legacy of Valor, an ambitious medieval RPG that merges open-world exploration, realistic melee combat, and deep city-building strategy. The game is in development for PC and can already be wishlisted on Steam.

Legacy of Valor transports players into a living medieval world where every choice shapes the fate of their people. As a ruler rebuilding a fallen kingdom, players must construct settlements, oversee trade and agriculture, and command armies in large-scale real-time battles. Each decision carries moral weight, influencing the world’s politics, prosperity, and survival.
The campaign follows the game’s reveal trailer, which recently surpassed 130,000 views across IGN and official channels—an impressive milestone for the solo-developed project. Drawing inspiration from Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Mount & Blade, and Manor Lords, Husák aims to blend narrative-driven role-play with grounded, strategic gameplay rooted in medieval authenticity.
According to Husák, the Kickstarter marks the most important phase of development: “We are thrilled to finally share our campaign after months of preparation. We’ve put together meaningful rewards, and we hope the project resonates with everyone who loves honest, story-driven medieval RPGs.”
Supporters can now back Legacy of Valor on Kickstarter to help shape the future of the project as it enters full production.
