The Occultist developer DALOAR has announced Frame Zero, a first-person psychological horror experience coming to PC in mid-2027. Frame Zero promises a chilling descent into guilt, faith, and the unknown, blending investigative storytelling with atmospheric horror inspired by real exorcism lore.

The game follows journalist Emma Sullivan and her cameraman Daniel Foster as they investigate the mysterious death of Father Gabriele Amorth, a renowned exorcist. What begins as a routine report soon spirals into a nightmare when the duo discovers that the residents of Amorth’s apartment complex are all dead — and that he died mid-ritual while attempting to exorcise a girl the Church had forsaken.
Hidden away for decades, the girl has now become a blind, monstrous entity accidentally set free. With Emma missing, Daniel must rely on his camera to navigate the haunted halls and uncover the truth behind the priest’s final act.
