Publisher Saber Interactive and developer stillalive studios will roll out the first public demo for Bus Bound during Steam Next Fest this October, offering players their first chance to get behind the wheel before the full release in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.

Set in the fictional city of Emberville, the demo invites players to explore the first district and operate two fully licensed buses—the Blue Bird Sigma and the New Flyer Excelsior Clean Diesel. Over the course of an estimated 60-minute play session, drivers will begin transforming Emberville into a more connected and pedestrian-friendly metropolis, balancing smooth driving with strategic planning.
Developed by the creators of Bus Simulator 21 and Bus Simulator 18, Bus Bound builds on the series’ simulation roots with a new focus on community-driven progress. Each completed route helps shape the city’s evolution, while dynamic systems—such as traffic AI, variable weather, and a full day-night cycle—bring its streets to life.
The full game will feature both solo and cooperative multiplayer modes for up to four players, allowing friends to manage shared routes or branch off to different districts. Fleet customization, visual upgrades, and performance tuning also play a major role, letting players personalize their buses and optimize their growing transport network.
