Yacht Club Games has announced a short delay for its upcoming action-adventure title Mina the Hollower, originally slated for release on October 31, 2025. The studio confirmed that while the Halloween launch will no longer happen, the delay “isn’t a major one,” with the new release date to be announced once the game is finalized and submitted to platforms. The title will be available for PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X|S, Nintendo Switch & Switch 2, and PC via Steam.

Mina the Hollower is a gothic action-adventure inspired by the Game Boy Color era, blending fast-paced combat, exploration, and platforming with modern design. Players take control of Mina, a skilled “Hollower” tasked with saving a cursed island. Using her whip and unique burrowing abilities, Mina must battle monstrous foes, unearth hidden secrets, and traverse interconnected landscapes filled with danger and mystery. Featuring an MSX-style soundtrack by chiptune composer Jake Kaufman, the game combines nostalgic visuals with tight, modern controls and deep customization options through weapons, sidearms, and trinkets.
Yacht Club Games, best known for the Shovel Knight series, describes Mina the Hollower as its most ambitious project to date — a bone-chilling yet heartwarming adventure inspired by Victorian Gothic horror. The studio thanked fans for their patience, teasing that the wait for Mina’s arrival “won’t be long.”
