DaRmaZat Publisher Xbox Game Studios and developers Team NINJA and PlatinumGames have announced Ninja Gaiden 4: The Two Masters, a new downloadable content expansion set to launch in early 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. The DLC will be included in the Deluxe Edition and Deluxe Upgrade of the game.
According to Team NINJA director Masakazu Hirayama, The Two Masters introduces new weapons for both Yakumo and Ryu, each reflecting their combat style and personality. Yakumo’s new weapon emphasizes flair and expression, while Ryu’s precise and high-speed arsenal focuses on sharp technique and power. Each weapon will feature unique mechanics and playstyles for players to master.
The expansion also adds new story content set after the events of the base game, told from the perspectives of both protagonists. Additionally, players can expect fresh post-game challenges beyond the existing Ninja Trials, offering even more opportunities to test their skills.
Ninja Gaiden 4 launches on October 21 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, and will also be available through Game Pass.
