Publisher Ubisoft and developer Ubisoft Bordeaux will release the free Assassin’s Creed Mirage major update “Valley of Memory” on November 18 for PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X|S, PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Store (NL/US), as well as Luna and iPhone.

The upcoming update introduces the new region of AlUla, a vast desert valley filled with ancient ruins and hidden oases, bringing a fresh story arc for Basim. Players will uncover long-buried family secrets while confronting a ruthless gang threatening the valley’s fragile peace. Set in the Golden Age of the Abbasid Empire, AlUla is recreated as it might have looked in the ninth century—an intricate crossroads of culture and history revived for the modern Assassin’s Creed experience.
Beyond the new region and narrative, “Valley of Memory” delivers a range of gameplay upgrades for all players. Parkour has been refined with smoother transitions, new free jumps, and enhanced control responsiveness. Players can now replay contracts and key missions through Animus Sequences, complete optional challenges, and unlock rewards such as color filters inspired by earlier Assassin’s Creed titles. The update also adds customizable difficulty settings, an extra skill, and a level 3 upgrade for each tool, along with numerous quality-of-life improvements based on community feedback.
