Amber Studio, REDRUM, and Madbricks have released a playable demo for Mexican Ninja, a fast-paced and over-the-top 2.5D beat ’em up roguelike set in the vibrant streets of Nuevo Tokyo. The full game is set to launch in Spring 2026 for PC via Steam.

In Mexican Ninja, players fight their way through a chaotic fusion of Mexican street grit and Japanese cyberpunk flair, where the Narcos and Yakuza have merged into the ruthless Narkuzas. The gameplay blends old-school brawler energy with roguelike unpredictability—every run is different, with randomized encounters, dynamic duels, and skill-based combat that rewards precision and flair.
The demo lets players experience the start of the uprising against the Narkuzas, featuring fast, punchy battles, bold humor, and a glimpse into the chaotic world of Nuevo Tokyo. Players can master unique fighting styles through Spirit Animal paths, channel powerful Mexican Jutsus, and evolve their build via the “Way of the Donkey,” a tongue-in-cheek skill tree built around swagger and precision.
