Developer and publisher Creepy Jar has announced an extension of the StarRupture single-player playtest. Originally scheduled to end earlier, the playtest will now remain available until Monday, August 4 at 10:00 AM PDT / 19:00 CEST.
Update – August 4, 2025: On August 4, StarRupture‘s playtest was extended for a second time, now running until Monday, August 11 at 19:00 CEST / 10:00 AM PDT.

The extension follows strong interest and continued feedback from players exploring the alien world of Arcadia-7. According to the studio, the decision was made in response to community comments on social media, Discord, and YouTube, which highlighted a desire for more time to experiment with the game’s base-building and survival mechanics.
We recently jumped into the StarRupture single-player playtest ourselves, and came away pleasantly surprised. The experience offered a relaxing, immersive dive into Arcadia‑7’s alien landscape, combining thoughtful base-building with a serene yet mysterious atmosphere. The single-player playtest for StarRupture is currently accessible through Steam. Players can still request access via the game’s store page and jump into the alien world of Arcadia-7 before the test ends.
