DaRmaZat Helldivers II is officially set to release on Xbox Series X|S consoles on August 26, as confirmed by Sony Interactive Entertainment and Arrowhead Game Studios. The game, which originally debuted on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on February 8, 2024, is now open for pre-orders through the Microsoft Store.
This cooperative third-person shooter throws players into chaotic intergalactic warfare as part of the Helldivers, an elite military unit from Super Earth. Players team up in squads of up to four, where strategy, coordination, and constant vigilance are essential—especially with friendly fire being a constant risk. Combat is varied and dynamic, allowing players to choose between stealth, overwhelming firepower, or tactical assault, all backed by powerful equipment and battlefield tools called stratagems.
Missions across hostile alien planets contribute to an overarching galactic conflict, where player efforts affect the outcome of the war. Enemies are relentless, diverse, and behave unpredictably, making every encounter a challenge.
