At yesterday’s Capcom showcase, the company has released a fresh look at PRAGMATA, offering the first extended glimpse of its sci-fi story and action gameplay.

Set in a near-future where humanity has developed a powerful material called Lunafilament, the game follows Hugh Williams, a soldier sent to investigate a lunar research facility that suddenly went silent. After a seismic event separates him from his team, Hugh is rescued by an android named Pragmata—whom he nicknames Diana. Together, they must fight through malfunctioning defense systems and uncover what went wrong.
PRAGMATA‘s gameplay blends tactical shooting with real-time hacking, allowing players to switch between Hugh’s firepower and Diana’s digital manipulation to overcome enemies and environmental puzzles. Exploration requires both characters: Diana hacks the station’s systems while Hugh uses his suit’s thrusters to navigate the complex lunar landscape.
Capcom has also launched the official PRAGMATA website, which features a playable hacking minigame and more details ahead of the game’s full release in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
