Bandai Namco’s showcase today delivered a wave of news for Little Nightmares fans, including a release date for Little Nightmares III, confirmation of an enhanced re-release of the original game, and a mysterious teaser for a VR project. Here’s everything revealed.
Little Nightmares III Launches October 10
Little Nightmares III, developed by Supermassive Games, is officially set to launch on October 10, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC (Steam and Microsoft Store), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. A version for Switch 2 was also newly confirmed.

The game follows Low and Alone, two children trapped in a distorted world called the Nowhere. Players must rely on their unique tools—a bow and a wrench—and each other to survive disturbing environments filled with monstrous “Residents.” Locations range from desert ruins to candy factories and twisted amusement parks. Little Nightmares III will support solo and online co-op play, with AI stepping in when needed.
