Developer and publisher Morteshka has announced that One-Eyed Likho, a first-person folk horror experience, will launch for PC via Steam on July 28.

Set deep within the eerie shadows of Slavic legend, One-Eyed Likho puts players face to face with a terrifying embodiment of misfortune. Based on the 19th-century fairy tale of the same name, Likho is a sinister figure from Eastern European folklore—typically portrayed as a gaunt, one-eyed crone dressed in black, bringing ruin to anyone unfortunate enough to cross her path.
Players must explore a haunting greyscale world inspired by this myth, unraveling dark secrets while attempting to escape the evil fate that stalks them. The game combines puzzle-solving and exploration with a strong narrative focus, guiding players through a world shaped by forgotten stories and supernatural dread.
With unique mechanics like fire-based puzzle elements and a fully greyscale visual style, One-Eyed Likho aims to deliver a deeply atmospheric experience that leans into folk horror rather than cheap scares.
Whether you’re fascinated by myth, folklore, or just crave a chilling narrative-driven game, One-Eyed Likho promises an unsettling descent into a world where even lighting a match could be your last hope.
One-Eyed Likho launches July 28, 2025, exclusively on PC via Steam.
