Natsume has officially announced Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home Special Edition for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The enhanced version of the mobile farming sim is scheduled to launch in 2025, bringing a host of new content and gameplay improvements to a wider audience.

Originally released on mobile devices (App Store, Google Play) in August 2024, Home Sweet Home invites players to leave city life behind and return to the quaint countryside village of Alba. Once a lively town, Alba has fallen into decline—but with the player’s help, it can thrive again.
The Special Edition introduces several new features exclusive to console and PC, including the Hoverbike 5000 for faster travel, the Cleanmeister Autovac for easier barn maintenance, and additional cutscenes that expand character interactions. It also adds two new marriage candidates—Ella, a wandering artist, and Dr. Nikolai, a curious physician—both originally featured in Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos.
In addition to the new content, players can expect the familiar charm of the Harvest Moon series: farming, fishing, animal care, mining, village festivals, and relationship-building. As players work to restore Alba, they’ll gather “Happiness,” a vital resource that helps attract new residents and breathe new life into the community.
