POSTAL 2 Redux Announced as Ground-Up Remake, Kickstarter Launching This Summer
DaRmaZat Flat2VR Studios, Team Beef, and Running With Scissors have officially announced POSTAL 2 Redux, a full-scale remake of the infamous 2003 open-world first-person shooter. Built from the ground up in Unity, the game is set to hit a wide range of platforms—including PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, PC, Mac, and Linux—pending final approvals and Kickstarter stretch goals.
A crowdfunding campaign is set to go live this summer, with development already underway. POSTAL 2 Redux aims to modernize the cult classic with a complete engine overhaul, while preserving the unhinged spirit of the original.
POSTAL 2 Redux will retain the familiar structure of the original—a chaotic week in the life of the POSTAL Dude—while overhauling visuals, physics, weapons, AI, and environments. From smarter crowds and breakable interiors to upgraded ballistics and dynamic lighting, this version of Paradise is being rebuilt to run (and explode) on modern systems.
