Still Wakes The Deep Expands with “Siren’s Rest” Story DLC, Launching June 18
DaRmaZat Publisher Secret Mode and developer The Chinese Room have revealed Siren’s Rest, a paid story expansion for Still Wakes the Deep. The DLC will be available starting June 18 for $12.99/£9.99/€12.99, with a 15% launch discount for PC players via Steam.
Set a decade after the events of the original game, Siren’s Rest invites players back to the wreck of the Beira D oil rig in a new narrative chapter lasting approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Now submerged in the North Sea, the rig hides secrets long buried under steel and water.
Players take on the role of Mhairi, leader of a deep-sea saturation dive crew dispatched to uncover what really happened on that fateful day in 1975, when all contact with the rig suddenly went silent. As Mhairi descends into the pitch-black depths, she must search for answers to questions left unresolved for ten years—and confront what may still linger in the dark.
