Friday Sundae has announced There Are No Ghosts at the Grand, a narrative-driven musical adventure coming to Xbox Series and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, with more platforms to be revealed later. A release window has not yet been shared.

Described by the developer as more akin to a dusty British ska and punk album than a traditional musical, the game follows Chris David, who unexpectedly inherits a decaying English seaside hotel. He has 30 days to restore it—but something darker may be lurking beneath its peeling wallpaper and faded furniture.
By day, players will use quirky talking power tools to renovate the Grand and its surrounding village. At night, those same tools become ghost-fighting weapons as the supernatural forces awaken. With light environmental puzzles, a richly woven mystery, and a soundtrack full of character-specific songs ranging from ska to skater punk, the game blends renovation gameplay with haunting storytelling.
The surrounding village offers exploration and side activities like mini-golf, scooter rides, beachcombing, and even fishing. But once the sun sets, the tone shifts—this town holds secrets, and Chris may be tied to them more than he realizes.
