DaRmaZat Thunderful Games and developer Wishfully have announced Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf, the sequel to the acclaimed cinematic puzzle adventure Planet of Lana. The game is scheduled to release in 2026 for PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series One & X|S, Switch, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.
Continuing the story of Lana and her trusted companion Mui, Planet of Lana II builds upon the emotional and artistic foundation of the original. After saving their world from a robotic invasion, Lana and Mui now set out on a deeper journey across Novo, uncovering ancient mysteries and facing a new, looming threat. Their bond will be tested as they explore new environments like frozen mountains, underwater realms, and forgotten ruins.
The sequel introduces evolved companion mechanics, more complex physics-based puzzles, refined stealth gameplay, and new traversal options like wall jumps and run-slides. The narrative promises a richer, more emotionally resonant sci-fi tale, supported by a returning score from composer Takeshi Furukawa.
