This roguelike action title centers on fast-paced, stylish combat and real-time shapeshifting between four playable characters—each with their own distinct abilities and flashy attacks. The demo includes one biome, a new unlockable character named Ekku, and showcases the game’s signature “Shapeshift Combat,” letting players chain dodge counters, combos, and form swaps in a seamless flow.
Set in a far-future world full of ruined landscapes and deadly machines, players must fight their way through semi-procedurally generated levels, collecting upgrades and growing stronger—until death resets everything. As you progress, permanent unlocks and character upgrades let you push further with every run.
With intense action, sleek visuals, and a deep rogue-lite loop, Morbid Metal is sharpening its blades for Early Access on August 20.
