Hirogami, a 3D action-adventure platformer inspired by the art of origami, is set to launch on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on September 3, publisher Kakehashi Games and developer Bandai Namco Studios Singapore announced. It will be priced at $29.99/£24.49/€28.99/¥3,410. Pre-orders are now live (NL/BE, US).

The PlayStation 5 version is newly revealed and will also receive a physical edition in Japan for ¥5,740. This package includes a special origami character set (featuring Bingley and Ama Jii), a diorama background sheet, and the official soundtrack on CD.
In Hirogami, players take on the role of Hiro, a mysterious paper-folding performer on a quest to protect a delicate origami-inspired world from an encroaching digital corruption known as the Blight. Switch between animal forms like armadillo, ape, and frog to traverse terrain, battle corrupted beings, and uncover secrets. The game pairs its papercraft aesthetic with traditional Japanese music to create a peaceful yet dynamic platforming experience.
