Digital Eclipse, now part of Atari, is teaming up with Warner Bros. Games to release Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection in 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, PC via Steam, and last-gen consoles. The collection includes enhanced versions of the franchise’s earliest titles—spanning arcade, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, and more—with added quality-of-life improvements and rollback netcode for online play.

The Kollection will also feature a new interactive documentary that explores the series’ impact on gaming culture. Expect behind-the-scenes footage, interviews with creators like Ed Boon and John Tobias, and historical context around the rise of Mortal Kombat as a global phenomenon.
Confirmed games so far include Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II, Mortal Kombat 3, Ultimate MK3, MK4, and several handheld-era titles—with more to be revealed closer to launch.
