Square Enix has released Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster, a refreshed take on the beloved 2012 3DS RPG. Now available for Nintendo Switch 2, the remaster features enhanced visuals, new mini-games, and refined mechanics designed for modern play.

Set in Luxendarc, the story follows four heroes of light—Agnès, Tiz, Edea, and Ringabel—as they journey to restore the balance of elemental crystals and face a mysterious darkness rising from a great chasm. Character designs by Akihiko Yoshida and a powerful soundtrack from Revo help bring this tale of fate and friendship to life once more.
The acclaimed “Brave & Default” combat system returns, letting players build or bank turns for strategic battles. Over 20 jobs can be combined for custom team builds, adding depth to its turn-based encounters. Two all-new rhythm and ship-management mini-games also take advantage of the Switch 2’s unique mouse-style controls, offering bonuses like new costumes and rare items.
This Switch 2-exclusive remaster is developed by Team Asano and continues the legacy that inspired Octopath Traveler. Priced at $39.99/€39.99, it’s now available digitally and at select retailers.
