Publisher NACON and developer Rogue Factor have released a new demo for Hell is Us, their upcoming third-person action-adventure game. Available now on Steam until June 16, the demo is also part of this year’s Steam Next Fest, which kicks off on June 9.

This demo gives players access to the complete first chapter of the game, offering around 90 minutes of content—more for those who take time to explore its many secrets. Hell is Us embraces a minimalist design philosophy known as “player-plattering,” which removes traditional navigational aids like GPS, quest markers, and mini-maps. Instead, it challenges players to rely on instinct, observation, and skill to uncover the game’s mysteries.
Set in a country torn by civil war and haunted by supernatural forces, Hell is Us follows Rémi on a deeply personal journey to uncover his origins. Armed with specially crafted weapons, players will need to confront otherworldly threats and piece together the truth hidden within a strange, war-torn land.
Hell Is Us launches September 4, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
