Creepy Jar has released a new 12-minute gameplay video for StarRupture, the studio’s upcoming cooperative survival and base-building game. The new footage highlights four-player co-op in action and offers the most in-depth look yet at the alien world of Arcadia-7.

Slated for release this fall on PC via Steam, StarRupture blends base construction, resource management, and hostile survival into a team-focused experience. While solo play is supported, the game is designed around cooperation, allowing up to four players to join forces as they build out industrial complexes, harvest critical materials, and fight back against swarming alien threats.
Set on the ravaged planet Arcadia-7, players take the role of convict laborers working off their sentences by fulfilling high-risk contracts for powerful corporations. Tasked with extracting and refining rare resources, players must battle scorching heat, limited supplies, and a relentless alien species—all while the looming destruction of the Ruptura Star ticks closer.
The gameplay video shows off base-building systems, exploratory mechanics, intense defensive combat, and the push-pull between survival and expansion. StarRupture promises a fresh take on the genre, combining large-scale factory building with sci-fi action and persistent threats. It’s a test of efficiency, adaptability, and teamwork in a world that actively works against you.
