With just weeks to go before launch, MindsEye has dropped a brand-new trailer offering a closer look at its cinematic narrative and ambitious player-driven features. The story-driven action-adventure from Build A Rocket Boy—founded by Grand Theft Auto veteran Leslie Benzies—arrives on PC via Steam on June 10, 2025.

Set in the near-future city of Redrock, MindsEye puts players in the boots of Jacob Diaz, an ex-soldier grappling with memory loss and a neural implant that holds more than just echoes of the past. As Diaz digs deeper, he finds himself entangled in a high-stakes conspiracy involving runaway AI, private military factions, and a global threat that could wipe out humanity. The campaign unfolds in linear fashion, but its production values, built in Unreal Engine 5, push the cinematic bar to new heights.
Beyond the main storyline, MindsEye integrates a robust Game Creation System—powered by the same tools the studio uses internally. With it, players can craft their own missions, challenges, and scenarios using in-game assets. Whether it’s a full-throttle car chase through Redrock’s neon-drenched streets or a tense stealth operation in its industrial sprawl, the creation suite is designed to be intuitive for all skill levels.
On top of that, Build A Rocket Boy promises a steady cadence of new content post-launch. Premium missions, additional gameplay features, and fresh creative assets will be rolled out monthly, blending developer-made expansions with the best community-made content. According to Benzies, the goal is to offer a platform that evolves constantly and keeps players coming back for years.
MindsEye is available now for pre-order on Steam. Pre-purchase grants a free upgrade to the Deluxe Edition.
