DaRmaZat PARASIGHT, the developers behind BLACKTAIL, have unveiled their latest project: DAVY x JONES, a bold new first-person shooter reimagining the legend of Davy Jones with a supernatural twist. The game is coming to PC via Steam and unspecified consoles. No release date has been announced yet.
In DAVY x JONES, you don’t just play as the feared pirate—you play as both parts of him. After being betrayed, executed, and tossed into the Locker (the pirate afterlife), Jones is split into a talking skull and a headless body. You’ll control this unlikely duo on a high-stakes journey of revenge against none other than Blackbeard himself.
Set across the surreal hellscape of the Locker—a shattered world of floating islands and cursed souls—the game mixes pirate fantasy and dark humor with brutal, fast-paced combat. Armed with sword, gun, and grappling hook, you’ll fight grotesque creatures and underworld guardians like the Kraken, while collecting volatile essence that can unlock treasure… or unleash chaos.
Your base of operations is Abby, a sentient hybrid of whale and warship. She’s your fortress, artillery, and companion, housing a crew of legendary officers who power up your arsenal in battle. As you grow in strength, so does your legacy—on the path to reclaim what was stolen, and maybe even become the devil himself.
