underDOGS has released the first gameplay reveal trailer for Mukti, its upcoming first-person narrative adventure game, developed in partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment’s India Hero Project. The trailer offers a first look at the emotional, mystery-driven journey set in mid-2000s India, where players step into the shoes of Arya, a young woman exploring a vast museum in search of her missing grandfather.

Speaking about the reveal, game director and underDOGS founder Vaibhav Chavan highlighted the impact of Sony’s support: “Being a part of the India Hero Project didn’t just give us fuel to bring our vision to life—it reaffirmed our belief that Indian stories belong on the world stage.” Chavan emphasized the importance of community support, encouraging players to wishlist the game to help open more doors for Indian game developers.
Mukti is being built for PlayStation 5 with full support for DualSense features like haptics and adaptive triggers. A PC version is also in the works, with detailed system requirements already released. The Steam version will include features such as achievements, controller support, and family sharing.
Mukti will launch for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. More details can be found on the official Steam page and on the official PlayStation blog. A release date has not yet been announced.
