Publisher Kakao Games and developer Chrono Studio are gearing up for the closed beta of their upcoming MMORPG, Chrono Odyssey. PC players can now register via the game’s Steam page, with the beta set to begin sometime in June.

Developed in Unreal Engine 5, Chrono Odyssey invites players into the fractured world of Setera, a realm on the brink of collapse due to an escalating war between cosmic forces. As a member of the Sentinel, you’ll wield time itself as a weapon—reversing moments, freezing enemies mid-strike, and manipulating the battlefield to your advantage.
The closed beta will include three of the game’s six final classes: Swordsman, Ranger, and Berserker. Each offers its own progression path and strategic depth. Players will also be able to explore a large, seamless open world shaped by time anomalies, dynamic weather, and day-night cycles. The beta serves as a first opportunity for the global community to experience the game’s ambitious mechanics and atmospheric storytelling.
Chrono Odyssey is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A full release date has yet to be announced.
