Soon, Mafia returns to its roots in a new standalone story set in early 1900s Sicily, as 2K and Hangar 13 have announced that Mafia: The Old Country will launch on August 8 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game will also be available through NVIDIA GeForce NOW.

Set in the rugged hills and blood-soaked villages of turn-of-the-century Sicily, Mafia: The Old Country is described as a focused, story-driven experience—grounded in the brutal traditions of Cosa Nostra. Players step into the shoes of Enzo Favara, a young man pulled into Don Torrisi’s growing empire, where loyalty is everything, and betrayal is paid in blood.
Two editions will be available at launch. The Standard Edition ($49.99/€49.99) includes the base game, while the Deluxe Edition ($59.99/€59.99) comes packed with bonus in-game items and digital extras. These include the Padrino Pack and Gatto Nero Pack, with exclusive outfits, weapons, vehicles, and cosmetics, plus a digital artbook and original score. All pre-orders also receive the Soldato Pack, offering themed gear and a loyal steed.
Mafia: The Old Country is now available to wishlist on Steam. Stay tuned for more gameplay details as the omertà breaks.
