Creepy Jar has unveiled a new 10-minute gameplay video for StarRupture, its upcoming four-player cooperative survival and base-building game set on the dangerous alien world of Arcadia-7. The footage offers a closer look at the game’s striking environments, resource management systems, and the looming celestial threat that drives the gameplay loop.

StarRupture places players in the role of convicts sent to a remote planet to serve out their sentences under the guise of resource extraction for indifferent megacorporations. Beyond simply gathering materials and building sprawling industrial bases, players must fend off aggressive alien creatures and endure the deadly heat cycles triggered by the planet’s volatile sun, Ruptura. As the star periodically scorches the planet’s surface, ecosystems are wiped clean—only to slowly regenerate in the aftermath, opening new opportunities for exploration and survival.
The dynamic world of Arcadia-7 constantly shifts between destruction and rebirth, inviting players to uncover secrets, scavenge rare resources, and solve the mysteries of long-lost expeditions. With solo and co-op gameplay for up to four players, StarRupture promises a tense but visually stunning survival experience that’s as much about endurance as it is discovery.
No release date has been confirmed yet, but the game is in development for PC and set to release via Steam this fall.
