DaRmaZat Sony Interactive Entertainment and Sucker Punch Productions have announced that Ghost of Yotei will launch exclusively for PlayStation 5 on October 2. A brand-new trailer, titled “The Onryo’s List,” gives fans their first deep look at protagonist Atsu’s quest for vengeance — and the dangerous open world of Ezo.
Set sixteen years after a brutal betrayal, Ghost of Yotei follows Atsu, a lone warrior returning to her homeland to take revenge on a deadly gang called the Yotei Six. The trailer introduces each of her targets, alongside glimpses of allies, a haunting new memory mechanic, and fresh combat abilities.
Compared to Ghost of Tsushima, exploration and open-world gameplay have been significantly expanded. Players can now pick their own path, track bounties, build campfires anywhere, and learn new skills from hidden masters across a stunning, deadly Ezo.
Pre-orders open May 2, with three editions available:
- Standard Edition ($69.99 / €79.99)
- Digital Deluxe Edition ($79.99 / €89.99), including bonus armor, mount customization, and early unlocks
- Collector’s Edition (price TBA), which includes a full replica Ghost mask, Atsu’s sash, a custom tsuba (sword guard), papercraft tree, art cards, in-game bonuses, and more
All pre-orders include an exclusive in-game mask and seven PSN avatars of Atsu and the Yotei Six.
