DaRmaZat Frostrail is a brutal open-world survival FPS from publisher Shiro Unlimited and developer FakeFish, the team behind Barotrauma. The game is set to enter Early Access on PC via Steam in 2026.
Set in a frozen post-apocalyptic empire twisted by an ancient pact with the Void, Frostrail casts players as Penitent Gardeners—soldiers of mercy and judgment—riding aboard a massive, steam-powered train across a land haunted by revenants and unspeakable horrors. Your train is both sanctuary and salvation, the last moving stronghold against a world lost to cold and corruption.
Players can go it alone or join forces in co-op to explore deadly ruins, scavenge scarce resources, and upgrade their train into a mobile fortress. Managing heat, fuel, and firepower becomes essential as you push deeper into the icy unknown, where every step away from your engine is a gamble with death.
