DaRmaZat As announced by developer Studio Evil, Syder Reloaded, a side-scrolling, multi-directional shoot ’em up, is now available for PlayStation 4, 5, and PC via Steam. Originally released for the Switch on March 13, 2020, this game is a remaster and expansion of Syder Arcade, a 90s-inspired shoot ’em up combining bullet-hell action with classic gameplay.
In Syder Reloaded, players will face a variety of challenging levels, a fleet of ships, and waves of alien invaders. There are no upgrades or grinding, as progression depends solely on player skill.
The new version introduces grazing mechanics, allowing players to fly close to bullets for extra points, as well as the ability to cycle shoot power-ups. Syder Reloaded also features revamped graphics, improved level design, and enhanced boss battles, alongside a new scoring system and four additional playable ships.
Being offered six levels of intense action during the campaign, players can also test their skills in Survival and Challenge Modes. Online leaderboards let players compete globally or with friends for high scores, and the game includes retro graphic filters for a nostalgic 90s feel.
