CD Projekt RED has officially announced that Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5, 2025, launching alongside Nintendo’s next-generation console. This marks the first time the dystopian RPG will be available on a Nintendo platform—and it’s arriving in its most complete form to date.

This Ultimate Edition will include both the base game and the critically acclaimed Phantom Liberty expansion, all on a single 64GB physical game card. Unlike many large releases on Nintendo systems, no additional downloads will be required—everything is preloaded and ready to play straight out of the box.
Performance-wise, CD Projekt RED is still fine-tuning the build (which is only about seven weeks old), but current targets are 1080p in docked mode and 720p in handheld, running at 30 to 40 frames per second, depending on whether players choose performance or quality mode. One standout feature of this version is full cross-progression compatibility, allowing players to carry their save data seamlessly between Switch 2 and other platforms, such as PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
In addition, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition on Switch 2 will make use of the console’s enhanced hardware capabilities, including motion controls and gyroscope support, offering a more dynamic and immersive experience for handheld and console players alike. With a price tag of $69.99 / €69.99, this release aims to bring the full Night City experience to a whole new audience—optimized for portability without compromising content or quality.
