The Arcade Crew and developer DoubleMoose have released a new trailer for Abyssus, highlighting the game’s intense weapon mechanics and customization options. The fast-paced co-op roguelike FPS, set in the depths of an ancient underwater civilization, is preparing for its first demo launch on Steam soon, with a full release scheduled for later this year.

The latest footage showcases a selection of deadly weapons players can wield, including the Brinerevolver, a precision-based sidearm designed for critical strikes; the Engine Rifle, a high-powered firearm capable of unleashing bursts of energy when pushed to its limits; and a devastating Shotgun built for sheer stopping power in close-quarters combat. Players can further modify their arsenal with workbench upgrades, unlocking alternate firing modes like knockback-inducing shots or enhanced critical damage for precision aiming.
Set in a sunken city filled with hostile threats, Abyssus challenges players—either solo or in teams of up to four—to uncover ancient secrets while surviving relentless waves of enemies. Inspired by cooperative shooters like Deep Rock Galactic and Gunfire Reborn, the game promises a rewarding progression system packed with weapon mods, artifacts, and abilities. With its blend of roguelike exploration, high-impact gunplay, and deep customization, Abyssus is shaping up to be a must-play for FPS fans.
