The PC version of The Last of Us Part II Remastered will be released on April 3 via Steam and Epic Games Store, featuring two new playable characters and four additional maps for the “No Return” mode. The PlayStation 5 version will receive the same content through a free 2.0.0 update.

Bill and Marlene from The Last of Us Part I join the mode, each with unique playstyles. Bill excels in close-range combat with a custom shotgun, while Marlene offers a riskier playstyle with an assault rifle and special abilities. The four new maps include Overlook, School, Streets, and Nest, all inspired by locations from the main campaign.

The PC version carries over all improvements from the PlayStation 5 release, including No Return, Guitar Free Play, and developer commentary, along with additional PC-focused features. Developed in collaboration with Nixxes Software and Iron Galaxy, it includes Nvidia DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3.1 and 4, uncapped framerate options, DirectStorage support, and adjustable graphical settings. It also supports ultrawide resolutions up to 48:9, keyboard and mouse controls with extensive remapping, and full gamepad support, including DualSense haptic feedback.
Players who log in with a PlayStation Network account will receive in-game points and an exclusive skin for Ellie. The game is optimized for a range of hardware, ensuring high performance on both high-end PCs and handheld devices. Originally released for PlayStation 5 on January 19, 2024, The Last of Us Part II Remastered aims to deliver an immersive and visually stunning experience on PC.
