During yesterday’s Silent Hill Transmission session, publisher KONAMI and developer NeoBards Entertainment revealed a teaser trailer for their upcoming psychological horror game, Silent Hill f. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store. A release date was not announced.

Silent Hill f will be set in 1960s Japan, in the secluded town of Ebisugaoka, where teenager Shimizu Hinako’s life is upended when a mysterious fog engulfs the town, turning it into a nightmarish landscape. As she navigates through its twisted paths, she must solve puzzles and battle grotesque creatures, facing impossible choices that will determine her fate.
Written by Ryukishi07, the story explores themes of psychological torment, beauty within horror, and the weight of personal expectations. The game’s atmosphere is enriched by Akira Yamaoka’s haunting score, blending Japan’s cultural essence with Silent Hill’s signature dread. Designers kera and Kensuke Inage have crafted eerie visuals and unsettling music to evoke a unique yet familiar Silent Hill experience.
The game includes disturbing themes such as child abuse, bullying, and graphic violence, with a disclaimer urging players to take breaks if needed. Silent Hill f reimagines the franchise’s horror in a Japanese setting, offering a chilling new chapter filled with mystery and psychological depth.
